About the Dafox Team
Dafox was founded by Dawid, who has specialized in steering wheel upholstery for over a decade. He has been involved in automotive upholstery for as long as he can remember – starting with small projects in his parents’ workshop. It quickly became clear that simply reupholstering wasn’t enough. A steering wheel could be completely transformed – rebuilt, reshaped, not just recovered. That’s how the first custom designs were created.
With the opening of the first workshop, new passionate team members joined, and the projects evolved – carbon fiber integration, heating systems, sensors, and custom shapes. Steering Wheel Design
In most cases, we develop steering wheel shapes using 3D modeling technology. This allows us to precisely refine ergonomics, grip geometry, and overall driving position, giving each wheel a more purposeful, performance-oriented structure.
It also provides full control over proportions, symmetry, and design consistency, ensuring every build meets exact specifications before production begins.

Shape Modification
Depending on the project, we can:

Hand Retrimming & Upholstery
The final stage is the hand retrimming of the steering wheel by experienced specialists. We control every detail – from thread tension and stitch symmetry to the final finish. This is the stage that defines the premium result our work is known for.
The steering wheel core itself remains unchanged, which ensures full compatibility with the car’sfactory functions. This includes multifunction controls, paddle shifters, heating, and driver assistance systems
